Tuesday 13 May 2025 | AGM and Tour of St Helen’s Churchyard Memorials | 7pm START - meet outside of the Hermitage Centre. Guided tour to be given by Anne Heaton around the churchyard of St Helens, followed by the AGM with cheese and wine in the Heritage Centre. | None | |
Tuesday 10 June 2025 | A Guided Tour of Bournville Village | There is a bus provided for those who wish to take it or self drive to the venue. The start time of the tour is 11.00 am at Bournville. The start time of the bus will be 10.00 at Ashby. (Pickup details supplied later.) The cost of the tour will be £22.00 for the bus trip plus £5.00 fee for the actual tour. Self drive members will also be asked to pay the £5.00 donation to the Bournville Trust. Book now. | £27 including coach there and back or £5 if you are travelling there yourself. Tuesday 8 July 2025 | Guided tour and Tea at Sinai House, Burton | Sinai House is an Elizabethan House situated high up on a hill above Burton on the Hoar Cross side of Burton. This is a self drive trip and for those who don't wish to drive there may be lifts available. For directions see the next Newsletter. The tour will start at 2.00pm and afternoon tea will be served at a cost of £11.00 each including a small donation. The new Member Open Discussion meetings is open to MEMBERS ONLY. You will have an opportunity to comment and discuss various points in the meeting on the topic at hand. We will have guest speakers attending to give more context to the subject. PLEASE WATCH THE DATES AS THEY ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO SPEAKER AVAILABILITY AND VENUE BOOKING.
