Building of the Month is a new joint initiative between Ashby Museum and Ashby Civic Society which aims to showcase and profile the restoration and design of a number of buildings in Ashby de la Zouch.

We have showcased 10 Buildings of the Month during 2025 so now it’s time to vote for your favourite building, which will then become Building of the Year.

Building of the Year 2024

Building of the Month is a joint initiative between Ashby Museum and Ashby Civic Society, which aims to showcase and profile the restoration and design of a number of buildings in Ashby de la Zouch.


We featured eight Buildings of the Month during 2024 and invited Ashby Civic Society members and the general public to vote for their favourite building, which then become Building of the Year.


Congratulations to all the buildings who agreed to be showcased during 2024 and we now look forward to featuring Building of the Month again throughout 2025.
