New Exciting Events Calendar!
We are excited to announce our diverse and engaging events calendar for the upcoming first half of the year. From thought-provoking talks to environmentally conscious initiatives and fabulous trips, our calendar is thoughtfully curated to foster community engagement and participation.

Ashby Tourist Information Centre
Ashby Tourist Information Centre has been closed by North West Leics District Council and after a sustained campaign they have now engaged in discussions with Ashby Town Council and the BID team to provide some sort of Town Information Centre.
The building lease has now been finalised and the Ashby BID managers are working out of the 'Ashby Information Centre' now.
About Ashby Civic Society
Ashby Civic Society come together to protect the past and present developments of the town.
- We provide a collective voice to influence changes to our town.
- We engage with developers and Councillors advising your preferred options.
- We help to preserve the heritage and historic buildings of Ashby.
- We provide a voluntary and crucially non-political voice.
- We help source funds to enhance the town with floral displays,
sundial and benches.
Annual Subscriptions 2024/25...
Annual Membership subscriptions are due in September each year. The next payment is due on 1st September 2024.
If you would like to join the Civic Society you have a few options...
1 - Pay online now by clicking the button below. THIS METHOD IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE - IT WILL BE BACK UP SOON.
2 - Attend a meeting and pay by cash or cheque.
3 - Print and complete THIS FORM and send with your cheque to: Richard Jameson, Treasurer, 2 Knights Close, Ashby LE65 2JQ.
Annual Subscription is £15 per person. New members joining from 1st February each year will pay £8 for the remaining year to end August.
New for 2024/25 is a Student rate - £7.50 per annum, 14-18 year olds. This might be of particular interest for those interested in History as a subject. For a student membership please visit a meeting and pay on the night.
